Shannon Edwards, President of TriStar and our office manager, Allyson Rentsch, are attending the annual ASPPA Conference in Washington D.C. this week. Much of the conference is focused on telling congress to keep their hands off of our 401(k)’s.
Savemy401k.com writes, “Congress needs to reduce the deficit, and part of deficit reduction will most likely be “tax reform” that increases tax revenue.” Are you interested in getting involved? Tell Congress you don’t want them to take away tax incentives which help American’s save for retirement, it only takes a second, send an e-mail here.
While at the ASPPA Conference, attendees had the opportunity to meet with members of congress. Here, Shannon meets with Caleb Krautter in Senator Tom Coburn’s office.
“I’m really proud to be a part of an industry that cares so much about helping Americans save for retirement,” Shannon said upon her arrival in Washington D.C.
