Shannon has been in the retirement plan industry for over 30 years. She founded TriStar Pension Consulting over 25 years ago. Shannon has been a credentialed member of American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) for 25 years. She has served on and currently serves on many ASPPA and ARA committees.
In addition to ASPPA, Shannon is Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent. She is also a contributing author for Plan Consultant Magazine and the Journal of Pension Benefits. Shannon speaks at several national industry conferences each year.In addition to the volunteer work she does for ASPPA and ARA, Shannon volunteers and fundraises for several local non-profits in Oklahoma such as Make A Wish Oklahoma, Infant Crisis Services and Cleats 4 Kids. When she is not working to empower participants to be able to retire on their own terms, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband of more than 30 years and her children, daughters-in-law and her granddaughter in the mountains, on the golf course, and on the beach.
